Where is your work space?

As small businesses we all need our own dedicated work space. Whether it is a workshop, carefully designed home office or the corner of a family room this is the hub of your little empire.

The PCG (and other sides of my business) are all run from the corner of my kitchen. Nice and close to the kettle!

This is my little untidy desk.




I do actually have a little office in our bungalow but I don't like it in there (it's also rather messy and full of miscellaneous items). The office is small and cramped and feels very cut off from the rest of the house. I like my spot in the kitchen as it is most certainly at the heart of activity and I can see what is going on when everyone is about. It's also rather handy for working while I prepare dinner and of course keeping myself supplied with hot beverages.

    My workspace is currently on the sofa with my coffee table as my desk is next to my balcony doors and it's a bit too cold in the winter. In the summer my desk is lovely to work at with the doors wide open.
