Does the colour of a logo determine how you feel about a business?

This is an interesting question.

Here is one of our Guild Buttons in different colours.

Which one apeals to you and why?

Social Media Today have an interesting article about emotional responses to colours. You can find the entire article here.
The black and gold are the actual colours of our button and when asked, our members agreed that it is luckily the one that they prefer. But how do the others make you feel?

The red and blue catch my eye the most out of all of them but they lack the professionalism and luxiousness of the black and gold. (In my opinion)

The yellow is bright and cheerful and the green nice and soft.

Which would make you want to find out more?

Small Business Saturday - 5th December 2015
5 million businesses, 1 big day!

This year, the Professional Crafters Guild is getting involved with Small Business Saturday on the 5th December. We invite all of our members to join up on the main SBS website and then post their link on our new Facebook page Small Business Saturday with the PCG where we plan to promote websites, Facebook pages etc from now until the 5th December.

To get involved please follow the steps below:

  1. Register your business on the SBS website: https://www.smallbusinesssaturdayuk.com, very easy to do and when you register you will get an opportunity for a directory entry.
  2. Then go to our new SBS page Small Business Saturday with the PCG and post the link to your directory entry on SBS (please note you may have to wait a few days for the entry to appear)
  3. Any business not registered on SBS will be contacted to do so, this is to promote hand in glove with SBS. Posts from non members will be removed, please see our joining information to become a member of the Guild.
  4.  Make sure you add the SBS logo to your Facebook page, website, blog and any other social media that you use.
Our involvement with this fabulous event is being run by Guild Committee member Caroline Nash who we would like to thank for her hard work in making this possible for us.

Together we can make this day special.
